Drake woman hope strong finish leads to NCAA

The Drake women look to finish the regular season strong to improve their hopes of solidifying an N-C-A-A berth. The Bulldogs have won six straight but trail Creighton by two games in the Missouri Valley race with three to play. Drake is 30th in the Ratings Percentage Index which is one of the factors used to put the field of 64 together. Coach Lisa Stone says at this point, she likes where the Bulldogs sit. She says the way you finish off the season is important.Stone says her team has to focus on the remainder of the regular season and the conference tournament. She says they can’t get caught up in the ratings ore strength of schedule.Drake plays host to Creighton on Saturday.
