Iowa Wesleyan forward is conference "Player of the Year"

Iowa Wesleyan senior forward Travis Wachal has been named the player of the year in the Midwest Classic Conference. Wachal averaged 19-points and just under ten rebounds this season to lead the conference in both categories. He was runner-up for player of the year award last season and he worked hard to win it this year.The Tigers finished third in the regular season conference race and Wachal says that success was a big reason for the award.Wesleyan opens the conference post season tournament at home Friday night against Grand View.
