The Drake women face a must-win games at home against Missouri Valley Conference-leading Creighton tomorrow afternoon. The Bulldogs are two games behind in second place and, with a win, Creighton would lock up the regular season title. Drake has won six straight games.Drake has been off this week and coach Lisa Stone says the added time off has been a plus. Creighton coach Connie Yori says the Bulldogs are difficult to defend.The Iowa women close out the regular season at home Sunday against Illinois. Iowa coach Lisa Bluder says as a “bubble team” for the N-C-A-A tournament, every game is important, but she does not want her players to feel too much pressure.Bluder says she does not dwell on their N-C-A-A tournamnent possibilities but the players are aware.Illinois coach Theresa Grentz feels her team is coming of age late in the season, and she feels they can accomplish a lot.
