Iowan expands role with Jayhawks

Kansas remains the top ranked team this week and after a narrow escape at Nebraska on Sunday the Jayhawks have a shot at finishing the Big-12 race unbeaten. Iowa Falls native Nick Collison says he has been trying contribute in a number of ways and not think only about offense.With Drew Gooden having an All-American season up front Collison says the Jayhawks don’t need as much scoring from him. He says he can give solid defense and a lot of other little things. He say some nights he needs to score, and some he doesn’t. Kansas hosts Kansas State and visits Missouri to close out regular season play this week.
