Western Dubuque school issue passes vote

Voters in the Western Dubuque School District have approved a program that’ll provide nearly a million-dollars for schools during each of the next five years.The measure passed by 51-to-49 percent. It had failed twice before. Money will go toward reducing class sizes, providing all-day kindergarten, new school buses and new books for private schools in the district.
