Corwith man found guilty of murder

One of two men accused of murdering an elderly man in his Corwith home last year has been found guilty of the crime. A Hamilton County jury this morning found 19-year-old Creig Shelton of Goldfield guilty of first-degree murder and robbery. Shelton was accused of murdering 75-year-old Dale Kelling of Corwith on November 27th. The jury started their deliberations late Thursday afternoon and returned their verdict just about 10 o’clock this morning. Jason Hively of Clarion who’s also charged in the case will go on trial later this spring.
