Davenport man faces charges in two deaths

March 15, 2002 By admin

A Davenport man faces charges in connection with the deaths of two Davenport women. 50-year-old William Hiesterman was arrested Thursday. He is charged with involuntary manslaughter in the March 2001death of 48-year-old Cathy Wendland and voluntary manslaughter in the November 2001 death of 46-year-old Kimberly Ford-Stuckey. Police say Heisterman gave Methadone, Valium and Vicodin to Wendland in the days before she died. And he provided Methadone to Ford-Stuckey. Heisterman had a prescription for the drug, which is given to people trying to overcome heroin addiction. Police say the second charge was voluntary manslaughter because Hiesterman already had seen that the drug could be deadly.
