At least one person died in an accident on Interstate 80 today near the Greenfield exit west of Des Moines. A pickup rear-ended a van that was parked at the side of the highway and burst into flames. A passenger in the pickup was killed. The driver of the pickup survived, and the driver of the van was not in the vehicle at the time of the accident. The names of those involved have not been released.
