A former eastern Iowa postal clerk has pleaded guilty to misappropriating postal funds.Angela Heckt of Tama entered the plea in district court in Cedar Rapids. Heckt was hired as a clerk at the Traer post office in August of 2000. She was accused of using two thousand dollars in postal funds to pay her personal bills. Heckt was given two years probation, ordered to pay restitution, and fined five thousand dollars.
