A chain-reaction nine-vehicle wreck on Interstate 80 last night stalled traffic for three hours in Iowa County. Four semis, a U-Haul, a travel trailer and three cars were involved in the 7 p-m accident just west of Williamsburg. A fire started in one of the semis, causing traffic in both directions to be shut down. Eight people were taken to area hospitals. None of the injuries was fatal. The accident occurred as the vehicles were approaching a construction zone.
