Iowa murder suspect caught in South Dakota

A suspect sought in a nationwide manhunt for a murder in Fort Dodge has been captured in South Dakota. The Iowa Attorney General’s office is prosecuting case involving Timothy Grove. A-G spokesman Bob Brammer says Grove is charged with first-degree murder and was arrested earlier Tuesday morning in Canton, South Dakota. Brammer says Grove waived extradition and the Webster County Sheriff was expected to return Grove to Iowa today for a possible court appearance tomorrow. Grove is wanted for the murder of man in Fort Dodge in 1999.The victim was Joshua Darby who died several days after being hit in the head with a large rock. Grove also faces a felony terrorism charge.
