May 2, 2002 By admin

Dike-New Hartford’s new football coach is its former one. Tom Wilson accepted the job as head coach at Southeast Polk but since then has changed his mind. Wilson says the job looked good on paper, but when it came down to it, he says he made the decision too quickly. Wilson says after agreeing to take the job he began to have second thoughts. He says he’s built a good program, and after talking it over with his wife, decided to stay.Wilson led Dike-New Hartford to a runner-up finish in class 2A this past season.
