Monticello student wins honor

A Monticello high schooler has been named a national award winner in history and government by the United States Achievement Academy.Erin Bone is one of fewer than ten percent of U-S high school students to be chosen for the award. Bone, who just learned of the honor Wednesday, will appear in the United States Achievement Academy official yearbook this year. She was nominated by high-school teacher Marc Holtzman, for her leadership as well as academic performance.
