Search ends on river for missing teen

May 16, 2002 By admin

Search and rescue crews have pulled off in the Wapsipinicon River near Cedar Rapids this morning after searching for a missing 17-year-old. Jason Limkemann was last seen near the river in Troy Mills on Friday. His mother, Nancy Cairy, filed a missing person report on Tuesday. She says noone has seen Jason and he hasn’t come home.Authorities in Linn County say there is no evidence Limkemann went in the water and he may have simply taken off.
