Attorney pulls out of case involving police chief

May 22, 2002 By admin

The Union County Attorney is pulling himself off a case involving the son of Creston’s police chief. The son of Creston’s police chief was arrested earlier this month and charged with drunken driving, eluding police, failing to obey a traffic device and speeding. The Union County Attorney wanted off the case since he regularly works with the police chief. The County’s Board of Supervisors hired the county attorney in neighboring Ringgold County to handle the case.
