Eastern Iowa man sentenced for killing

An eastern Iowa man is headed to prison for the slaying of a Quad City woman. A DeWitt man has been sentenced for the stabbing death of an East Moline, Illinois, woman. 42-year-old Kenneth Lester Mohr was sentenced to 20 years in prison. He was convicted of second-degree murder in April. Shiela Sutton was stabbed the morning of May 25, 2001. Her body was found in the bedroom of her home June 2nd of that year. The sentence was the maximum allowed by law, but Mohr will get credit for time served since his arrest last fall.
