Body of missing fisherman found

The body of a missing fisherman has been found in the Mississippi near hisLeClaire home.43-year-old Gilbert Teel, who lived on the banks of the river, had beenreported missing Wednesday night. His body was found Thursday underneath aneighbor’s boat dock about 200 feet downstream from his home. Officials believe Teel may have fallen off his own dock and been swept away by the strong current. Teel retired in 2000 on a disability from the Davenport Fire Department after serving 19 years on the job.
