Former coach urges everyone to fight cancer

Former Iowa football coach Hayden Fry headlined a Delaware County “Relay-For-Life” event this weekend to raise money for cancer research. Fry says you don’t have to have cancer to get involved in the research.Fry was diagnosed with prostate cancer in the late stages of his coaching career. He underwent treatment at University Hospitals in Iowa City and says he’s doing fine now. Fry says the best way to combat cancer is to see your doctor on a regular basis. He says the prevention is the best way to beat cancer early.Fry says a local doctor invited him to Manchester to headline the event.
