U-S Attorney General visits Cedar Rapids

U-S Attorney General John Ashcroft visited eastern Iowa yesterday.Ashcroft talked about homeland security and inmate rehabilitation with local law enforcement and emergency officials. He also talked about a two million dollar grant for the Iowa Department of Corrections to help serious and violent offenders get back into society so they don’t commit more crimes.
