The Iowa Supreme Court has tossed out the drug and child endangerment convictions of a central Iowa man. Anthony Webb of Urbandale was arrested about two-and-a-half years ago after police searched the apartment he shared with another man, a woman and her kid, and found marijuana. The cops found a bag of marijuana and a couple of pipes, a measuring scale in the kitchen, and even a brick of marijuana in the freezer. Webb’s lawyer argued he did not have control over the pot as it was not among his possessions, and the Supreme Court justices agreed, noting that Webb’s fingerprints were not found on the items seized.
