July 19, 2002 By admin

A Waterloo man is charged in the case where a Dubuque convenience store clerk was robbed and forced to drive across eastern Iowa. 25-year-old Dana Scott is charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree kidnapping. Police say he robbed the Big Ten Mart in Dubuque on July 14th, and then forced the clerk to drive him in her car. The clerk escaped unharmed in Evansdale when they stopped for gas. 27-year-old Mark Wilder of Waterloo is also being held in connection with the kidnapping.
