Nine-year-old girl killed in Davenport shooting

A drive-by shooting in Davenport last night killed a nine-year-old Wisconsin girl. The victim was attending a family gathering. She was taken by ambulance to a hospital, where was she pronounced dead. Witnesses say the gunshots came from a passing car at about 11 p.m. Police don’t yet know how many shots were fired, or what the motive was.
