Ed-Co and Woodbury Central advance to 1A title game

One championship game is set at the Girl’s State Softball Tournament. Edgewood-Colesburg downed top-ranked HLV/Victor 4-2 last night to advance to the championship game. Ed-Co coach Kevin Schechmann says they don’t care what the rankings are once they get to state, as they know it takes a team effort to score runs and win.He says it’s been an exciting run thus far and they’re excited to be in the championship game.Edgewood-Colesburg will face Woodbury Central which downed Underwood 7-3 in the other 1A semifinal. The 1A championship game is Friday night at 5 o’clock.
