A Dubuque man escaped injury yesterday when the small plane he was flying crash-landed in a farm field west of Dyersville. Twenty-two-year-old Thomas Haas, Junior of Dyersville was piloting a small Cessna when the engine reportedly stalled, causing the plane to come down in a bean field. Upon landing, it flipped over on its top. Haas escaped injury. The FAA will investigate.
