The hunt for two 14-year-old girls who allegedly stole cars in Stuart, Menlo and Coon Rapids is over. The Perry Police Department arrested 14-year-old Melissa Nelson and 14-year-old Teresa Eck, both of Adair this morning. Police charged them with 5th degree theft, shoplifting and second-degree possession of stolen property. Nelson and Eck will also face various charges in Guthrie and Carroll Counties. The two were transported to a juvenile detention center. Police have recovered all three stolen vehicles.
