Pillars of Health: Fairfield author’s first health book

August 30, 2002 By admin

A southeast Iowa author who’s written 2-dozen books on computers is releasing his first in a new avenue — preventing cancer. Jim Meade, of Fairfield, zeroes in on the killer with “The Answer to Cancer”. Meade says through three pillars of “alternative” health, we can avoid most ailments, including the Big-C. Meade says drinking iced beverages is “the antithesis of digestion”. The book teaches a basic course in Yoga, denounces microwave ovens and upholds the sunrise walk. One is proper diet, where he says America has a lot to learn. It should be low fat, lots of grains and vegetables. Meade says the 2nd pillar is getting a good night’s sleep, between six and eight hours. The third thing is a daily routine — just allowing our body to follow the same pattern daily, getting up, eating, working and sleeping at the same times every day. Meade ays “Answer to Cancer” offers a cradle-to-grave, 24-hour, easy and natural approach for averting the disease before it ever takes hold. The 220-page book is available through “www.amazon.com”, “www.bn.com” (Barnes &Noble online), and “www.avertcancer.com”.
