Four jailed after robbery and chase in Hardin County

Four people are jailed in Hardin County after leading law officers on a chase last night from Iowa Falls to Hampton.32-year-old Jason Mussehl and 31-year-old Kory Latraille, both of St. Paul, Minnesota, are charged with felony burglary. 22-year-old Melissa Christofferson of St. Paul and 24-year-old Kari Nelson of Ottumwa are charged with aiding and abetting. Witnesses say they four took a safe out the back door of the Dollar General store in Iowa Falls last night. Police pursued their car and the safe was reportedly thrown out of the suspects’ vehicle at authorities. The car crashed into a tree in Hampton. Three suspects were arrested there. A fourth ran away and was captured later in a residential neighborhood.
