Explosions and fire rocked a factory just north of the Iowa border this morning. The Hormel Foods plant in Austin, Minnesota, employs many northern Iowans. The names of the injured have NOT yet been released. The plant employs 2,100 workers. Emergency crews are still at the scene. Austin Fire Chief Dan Wilson says the five people who were hurt were NOT hurt in the initial blast. Workers went back into the area to inspect the damage after the first fire was out when another blast errupted, injuring them. The cause of the initial fire and the explosions is still unclear.(Thanks to the Minnesota News Network)
