ISU receiver says team won’t let down

September 5, 2002 By admin

Iowa State coach Dan McCarney does not feel his team will take one-double-a Tennessee Tech lightly this Saturday night. The Cyclones are coming off a lopsided win over Kansas in their Big-12 opener and junior flanker Lance Young says the goal this week is to stay hungry. He says Tennessee Tech is looking for the upset. Young says that has been McCarney’s theme all week, as he says it doesn’t matter who it is, they’re hungry to get a win and ISU has to be the same.Tech opened the season with a loss at Bowling Green.
