Storms last night and this morning did some damage in southwest Iowa. Mike Standley farms three miles north of Lenox. He says whether it was a tornado or just straight wins, it tore things up pretty bad. He says it damaged buildings, cars and trees. Standley says that strong wind came up about 2:30 this morning. Standley’s already had insurance adjusters out today looking at the damage on his farm, and says he’s having trouble getting cleanup started. Other storm damage in the area includes reports of power lines and several trees down in Clearfield.
