UNI heads South to try and get back in conference race

The Northern Iowa Panthers look to climb back into the Gateway title hunt with a visit to Southern Illinois. The Panthers opened the league race with a loss to Western Kentucky while Southern edged Western Illinois. U-N-I coach Mark Farley says the roles of these two teams are reversed. Farley says Western is the team to beat and that’s the way they have to look at it.Farley says to get the win the Panthers will need to do a better job stopping the run.Farley says the Salukis are vastly improved this season.
