Thousands of cans of beans sold in Iowa and four other states are the subject of a recall. Minneapolis-based General Mills is recalling more than four-thousand cans of Old El Paso Traditional Variety Refried Beans. The company says the cans have the potential to be contaminated with the bacterium that can cause botulism, as testing found the cans may’ve been underprocessed. There are no reported illnesses. The beans were sold in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky and Missouri. Consumers with questions can call 800-300-8664.
