Kansas State coach Bill Snyder says he is not surprised at the progress the Iowa State program has made. Snyder spent several seasons with Dan McCarney on the Iowa staff and his 12th ranked Wildcats hosts McCarney’s 21st ranked Cyclones on Saturday. He says the turnaround job has been well recognized. Snyder says McCarney always displayed a work ethic needed to become a successful head coach, and was always a great recruiter. With victories in their next two games the Cyclones would win the Big-12 North Division title. Wildcat coach Bill Snyder says he is not surprised the Cyclones are part of the title chase with a quarterback like Seneca Wallace.
