Two die in accident in Clinton County

November 7, 2002 By admin

In eastern Iowa, a rural Clinton County couple was killed Wednesday night in a two-vehicle crash. Authorities say a car driven by 87-Raymond Rowson collided with a semi-truck in Clinton County. Rowson and his 83-year-old wife, Alma, died at the scene. The Archer Daniels Midland truck was driven by 59-year-old Alma Melchers of Anamosa. It’s unknown if Melchers was injured. The accident is under investigation, no charges have been filed.
