Governor to help train his new colleagues

Governor Tom Vilsack will be meeting the nation’s new governors next week.Vilsack’s been asked to lead some workshops for new governors at the National Governor’s Association meeting next week in Austin, Texas. Vilsack says he wants to build a coalition of Midwest governors to work on key issues, like Medicare reimbursement rates. He says he’ll push for a cohesive midwest approach to the issues.Vilsack will be attending today’s Iowa/Northwestern game in Iowa City before taking a few days of vacation with his wife.
