Akron-Westfield wins first title over DNH in 1A

At the high school football championshup games on Friday, fifth ranked Akron-Westfield claimed the class 1A title with a 31-7 win over number-ten Dike-New-Hartford. Akron-Westfield won their first championship with a 13-0 record, while Dike-New Hartford finished the season at 10-3.
