Photo lawsuit in Buchanan County could expand

December 10, 2002 By admin

A lawsuit involving a Buchanan County Deputy and a nude photo may be expanded. A Delaware County district court judge is considering a request include the assistant Independence police chief in the lawsuit. Former Buchanan County deputy Crystal Keesaw is suing Buchanan County deputy Tracey Bantz saying he digitally altered a photo to make it appear she was topless. Bantz has asked that assistant Independence police chief Darwin Meyer be included in the civil defamation case, as Bantz claims Meyer showed the digitally altered photo to other people. The case is being heard in Delaware County, as Buchanan County is also a defendant in the case. The judge says he’ll take the request under advisement.
