Grinell meets Drake tonight in a step up to D-1

The Grinnell College men take their high-scoring act to division-one tonight with a visit to the Knapp Center to play Drake. The Pioneers scored 152 points Monday night in a victory over William Penn while this will mark the first home game for the Bulldogs since a November 26th loss to Iowa, Grinnell coach Dave Arsenault says they’re appreciative of the opportunity to play Drake.He says his son and Drake’s Kurt Kanaskie are friends and that led to scheduling the game.Arsenault says he appreciates the chance to showcase their unique style on a larger stage.Drake is 3-4 after a Sunday loss at Central Michigan.
