UNI faces Arkansas State

December 13, 2002 By admin

The Northern Iowa women look to bounce back from a loss at home to Missouri when the Panthers host Arkansas State. U-N-I coach Tony Dicecco says his team is learning to play with a shorter bench than expected as they don’t have the 12 or 13 kids they thought they would, and will have to learn to play with nine, some without college experience. Dicceco feels a tough non-conference schedule will benefit the Panthers.Dicecco says the Panthers will face a motivated opponent.
