ISU women head to West Coast

December 21, 2002 By admin

The Iowa State women return to action on Sunday with a visit to Washington. The Cyclones are 3-3 and will have a difficult assignment against 7-1 Washington. Cyclone coach Bill Fennelly says they’re very talented and average 90 some points at home. One of Iowa State’s strength has been three-point shooting. That is also a strength for a Washington which is averaging more than ten treys per game. He says that’s not something he’s seen from many teams, as he says they’ve made almost as many threes as free throws.
