More details released on Spencer death

January 14, 2003 By admin

Spencer police are releasing more information on a shooting Monday in a trailer home that left one woman dead and a man in the hospital. 62-year-old Karen Kay Duncan was found dead from a single gunshot wound on a bed in the mobile home. 71-year-old Harold Arthur Duncan was also found on the bed. He’d been shot in the face. He is recovering at a hospital in Omaha, where he’ll have surgery later this week. Police believe the shootings only involved the Duncans.
