Grand Junction man arrested after standoff

A Grand Junction man was arrested last night after a lengthy stand-off with police. Police got a call at about 9 o’clock last night, reporting 45-year-old Timothy Leesley was threatening to kill his wife and any cop who tried to intervene. After a few hours, though, Leesley surrendered to authorities, who found a pellet-type pistol, a utility knife and a folding knife in the home.
