Panthers return to conference action against SW Missouri State

The Northern Iowa Panthers return to Missouri Valley Conference action athome tomorrow night against Southwest Missouri State. The Panthers are 2-5in the Valley after an overtime loss to Southern Illinois. Earlier this weekthe Panthers lost point guard Chris Foster for a month due to injury. CoachGreg McDermott says Freshman Ben Jacobsen will see some minutes at thepoint.McDermott says S-M-S is becoming a contender in the league race as they’vesurprised everyone and have accomplished it mainly with defensive pressure.Elwin Huffman, KOEL, Oelwein
