DNR gives its website a makeover

February 4, 2003 By admin

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is in the process of updating the design of its website. The department that handles everything from hunting licenses to manure application permits began revamping its website in January. Bob Castelline developed the new design to make it less “institutional” and more user friendly. He says it’s more colorful and he says it’s set up in a more logical fashion. Castelline says the sight has two different sets of navigation tools. He says one set of navigation tools lets people who know nothing about the D-N-R easily find things on the site. Castelline says the changeover is a work in progress. He says they won’t be completed for every D-N-R division until October. You can check out the site at www.iowadnr.com.
