Hull teens plead guilty to staging robbery, shooting themselves

February 11, 2003 By admin

Two Hull teenagers accused of staging a robbery at a Hull convenience store last month appeared in court Monday. Sioux County authorities went to the store January 23rd and found two young men with gunshot wounds to their shoulders. The teens claimed they’d been robbed and shot by a Hispanic man who fled. Investigators later determined the boys committed the robbery themselves then either shot each other or shot themselves. The boys admitted their guilt in court Monday. A sentencing hearing will be held in April.
