March 5, 2003 By admin

The Iowa State women close out the regular season tonight with a visit to Kansas. These teams met back on January 11th, a Cyclone victory in Ames. Iowa State coach Bill Fennelly expects a more difficult challenge this time around. He says they’re probably a lot better team now that they’ve played together for awhile. Fennelly says Kansas has setteled on a lineup and they’ve been through a year of Big 12 basketball. Fennelly says the Cyclones will need to do a good job on the boards as they got outrebounded by 19, even thoough they won the first game. The Cyclones are 6-9 in the Big-12 and 11-15 overakll.
