Parkersburg man seriously injured in train/truck wreck

A Parkersburg man was injured when the truck he was driving was hit by a train.The accident happened around three p.m. when 41-year-old Rodney Kolder of Parkersburg failed to stop at a crossing and a train hit the grain truck he was driving. Kolder was ejected from the truck and was taken by ambulance to the hospital in Cedar Falls. He’s in serious condition. The grain truck was totaled, and there was eight-thousand dollars in damage to the train. Kolder is the girl’s basketball coach at Aplington-Parkersburg.
