An Iowa woman’s come home richer from an appearance on a T-V game show. A schoolteacher in the Center Point – Urbana school district has won 125-thousand dollars on the TV show “Who Wants to be a Millionaire?” Deeta Andersen appeared on the show this past Thursday and Friday, and last night she decided not to take a guess at the 250-thousand question, which asked how many calories a person would have to burn to lose a pound of fat. She took home a lesser prize, and later learned her guess, 35-hundred calories, would have been correct.
