The Northern Iowa women’s basketball team has officially announced the addition of Cedar Falls native Kim Hansen. Hansen sat out this past seasaon after transferring from Missouri-Kansas City. Hansen was the 2002 Mid-Continent Conference freshman of the year. U-N-I coach Tony DiCecco says she’s a great edition to the team, with her experience. The Panthers will return three starters from last years team that finished 18-12 and qualified for the W-N-I-T tournament.
