A postal official from Delaware County has been put on leave pending an investigation by the U.S. Postal Service. Manchester postmaster Jerry Doyle was placed on leave without pay while postal officials conduct an investigation. Postal officials have declined to give information on the nature of the investigationor the reason for Doyle’s leave. Doyle has served as postmaster since 1980. Stephanie Brown has been appointed acting postmaster.
